Coral Crazy

Hey guys! I'm come here to tell you about my current colour lust! While working for Supré i have to walk through and sort aisle upon aisle's of bright colourful stock! We have a great range of neon colours that (with my help!) we showcased in one of our recent newsletters.

How cute and fun are these!

I'm hopelessly in love with Coral! (aka orange!) This shade of brilliant neon orange has that little bit more red twinge then your usual high-vis style orange. It's a great shade for anyone, like me, who have cool coloured skin, and is a great colour to introduce to your wardrobe if neon is a new territory for you!

I love that it is so fun and bright because it can easily become a chuck on statement piece and can instantly brighten up a drabby winter wardrobe. These are my Favourite winter Picks in this fabulous colour!

This cute textured crop knit is perfect for transitioning in between seasons and will look super fab chucked under or over a set of denim overalls!

Obviously not a winter piece! But this baby can be easily warmed up by throwing it over a singlet skater dress with stockings and a cute cardi!

I literally LIVE in these scarfs! So theres no excuse not to own them in every colour! Spice it up with a messy top knot and warm jumper and trackies and you have instant adorable snow bunny!

Totally on my to buy list! Imagine this with a white collared button-down and slouchy boyfriend jeans and you've got geek chic down pat!

Tell me what you think? Is this the colour that could bring you to the neon revolution? Or is this a hit and miss in your wardrobe?

Until next time! xx

Supanova day 2: Captain America

Hey guys! here's part 2 of my totally awesome Supanova weekend! On the sunday we decided to re-do our fabulous Super hero costumes, Rebecca as Wonder Woman and myself as Captain America, mainly because we knew we'd be meeting the boys of Merlin and wanted to look BANGING! We were still quite popular and had loads of people wanting our photo but we still had enough free time to check out all the Stalls and have photo's with other amazing cosplayers. we were able to take full advantage of our special Merlin tickets and even though we got to cut all the lines we still had to line up long enough to make loads of line buddies

Since my story about meeting the boys is really long and fangirly you can read it here [spoiler alert: i get hit on by Bradley!!!!]

We'd also love to thank everyone for the reblogs and kind words on this photo! the original post has almost reached 1000 notes on tumblr! (nothing with my face has ever gotten so many reblogs!)

My makeup: Blue shimmer shadow in a wing shape, eyeliner and false lashes, red cheek tint and a pinkish red lip.

Representing justice and freedom is tiring. i made the shield and spray painted the shoes and corset (it was originally white) the leggings are from Supre

Game of thronessssss! so cosplaying as daenerys next year!

Goofy faces with judge dread (what a trooper!)

Posing with my fellow avenger!

This guy decided at 8:30 Am that day to make his costume! i was too busy doing make up and looking for my pants!

Booty shots with Kate Bishop (hawk eyes sidekick!)

I really love this costume. it's so easy to replicate and it always makes me feel super sexy and confident! it totally got the reception i'd hoped for. I'd originally lost my pants and my friend Dallas had to buy me some from Supre on the way to the Con!!!! I was so upset that i'd look stupid but luckily my Spiderman came through for me!

How was the con for you! i'd love to hear about it!

Supanova Sydney day 1: Pink Ranger

hey guys! if you're here just for all my fashion related stuff you may want to scroll past because it's about to get nerdy up in here!!!!

This weekend i went to Supanova in Sydney. I cosplayed last year and enjoyed it so much i decided it was worth going both days, This year they had multiple guests i wanted to meet but due to lack of funds i kept the list short and instead bought a Excalibur ticket so i could meet the knights from Merlin and BRADLY FUCKING JAMES! it included an exclusive panel, a group photo with the boys and priority line up. wooooo line cutting.

Since on the saturday we decided to Dress as the power rangers we kept the activities to a minimum, only attending the special Merlin Panel. i plucked up the courage to ask a question (never done this before!) and asked since their costumes are so big and bulky, which character would they like to swap costumes with. the boys wanted to see my costume since i complained i was in a unitard and then we all talked about how i couldn't hear or talk with my helmet on! Tom answered my question by saying how jealous he was on tough outdoor shoots with Colin in his light trousers and comfy jacket!

Being such iconic characters we didn't have a lot of chance to check out the stalls because every time we tried to move 20 more people wanted photos. but hey, thats why i go. i love seeing the smiles on all the kids faces and all the general fangirl/boyness of all the adults.

unfortunately we weren't the only power rangers but Rebecca and myself were the only girls!

Link and Myself!

Group hug with super tall superman and some Gryffindors!

Met another Ranger!

Holy grail of PANTS!

Ok, so the names a bit lame BUT in my defence it totally captures my thoughts on these leggings!

I threw together this last outfit because we wanted to shoot another look for Our sponsor, City Beach (who supplied the cute as top and vest!)

i really like that this look is so effortlessly chic but also has the option to be dressed down (like we did with the neon beanie). It can go from afternoon movie date with the girls to late night drinks with your co workers with a simple change from vest to blazer.

These leggings are definitely a statement piece and tied first place as my favourites! they really bring a fresh take on the faux leather style and i much prefer their epic shine when it comes to my wardrobe.

Top and Vest: City beach
Leggings: blackmilk new slick leggings
Shoes: jeffery Campbells spiked Lita's
Beanie: metalhead and damsel

BAD KITTY!!

MEOW!

if you didn't notice i love pairing looks with this cute cat beanie (and then naming them with appropriate cat related names!)

i totally dig grunge style and loved how this men's jumper complimented the bold stripes and fierceness of the spiked lita's, even though it was more of a slate/dark khaki colour in person.

i really liked the use of props in this look and was glad we used the full effect of the location, it was very urban jungle!

Cat beanie: metalhead and damsel
Chain Necklace: collette
Jumper: three of something
Leggings: blackmilk
Shoes: jeffery campbell

shopping haul!

hey guys! i'm back again with a new shopping haul! i recently bought a few items from boohoo.com and went on a bit of a spree on the long weekend. Enjoy!

fluoro pink disco pants from boohoo. I'm kind of disappointed in these, only because they're more like leggings with pockets and very see through. But i'm probably judging hard because i own a pair of AA disco pants. The colour is fabulous though ;)

THESE!!! these are my favourite item right now! they're white dungarees from boohoo. i bought both items during their 15% off promo. super happy with these and delighted that their size chart is spot on, these fit like a dream! i'm really digging the white trend especially in a super polished look!

Home boy tee from CO by cotton on for $25, it's in the mens section and i got it in an XL so that it'd be super long over my leggings, i bought it after spending all day crying over the price of Boy London! CO by cotton on is exclusively online but they do have a small selection at their George St. mega store in Sydney!

I got this Jay Jay's camo jacket for $25. i picked this up at their 'nothing over $25' sale, i've been on the look out for a camo jacket for ages and originally wanted a baggy mens one but found they just didn't suit me. so i opted for this instead. it's a good fit and looks super cute with rolled up sleeves. i also teamed it with my striped jeans for a bit of pattern clashing.

I bought this faux leather pinafore from Big Bargains on George St. they're an Asian chain store that sell knock offs of a lot of popular items. It only cost me $20 but i had to get it in a size 12, It still looks ok in that size but i'm unsure how it'll look when i team it with my crop tops. but hey! For $20 i can take the risk!

This Tattoo choker is from Dangerfield. It cost $8 and strangely very big (it has a clasp on the back) luckily because it's rubber, it wont move around too much and does stay in place regardless of it being big. but be careful with it!! i accidentally stretched mine a little when i chucked it into my jewellery box!

Lastly i bought a can of Chrome Spray paint from Dollar King for a DIY project i have with my old docs. I was also majorly surprised that they didn't card me even though i was dressed like a teenage delinquent!

until next time! xx

Queens birthday fun!

hey guys! just a quick post about the awesome stuff i got up to this long weekend!

My best friend Alyssa came round for the whole weekend and we got up to some strange shenanigans.

this is what i wore saturday! i'm totally obsessed with my new boohoo overalls and jeffery campbell boots! the only down side was trying on clothes, i had to take off so many layers!

for brunch we went to Passionflower at capitol square where we ordered crepe's and waffles (mmmm waffles) it's by far my favourite place for sweets!

my sister ordered this cute kiwi, apple and lime sorbet drink called the 'green traffic light'

Next we went upstairs to the crane arcade and spent a fortune!!! we won a giant Llama (we named it llama del ray!) 2 pikachu puppets (in one go! mad skills!) And i won a cat phone topper!

we had to cart this around all the stores and Alyssa kept asking people if they had llama clothes or facilities. we were laughing like loons.

i also re painted my nails in tiffany blue french polish for a children's party i went to :)

On monday we went out for more shopping (so broke!) and i decided to grunge it up in this cute home boy tee i bought on saturday and my spotted docs! (woo for crap in the background!) i also got my hair cut on saturday and i think it looks really 'great Gatsby' right now!

we then stopped by Kings comics (among other places) to cry over cute nerdy things we can't afford!

We successfully converted Alyssa into a trekkie!

Gotta love a good cardboard cut out! DELETEEEEEEEE

Crying over the perfection of these cute bat symbol earrings!!!!

so i spent a whole chunk of my weekend shopping! as well as watching Jurassic park and snuggling with my kitten :) what did you get up to this long weekend?

Stay tuned for a shopping post on all the goodies i picked up!

until next time! xx
